Today, we focus almost exclusively on commercial and institutional clients, from schools and healthcare facilities to hotels, industrial operations, government buildings, faith-based facilities, construction, and commercial real estate. While we occasionally serve residential clients through referrals, our passion and expertise lie in solving the complex security challenges facing Carolina businesses.

Meet Terrell Shropshire

As the founder and owner of Advanced Carolina Technologies, I'm personally involved in every project we undertake. My background spans 20 years in the security, telecommunications, and technology industries, giving me a comprehensive understanding of how these systems work together to protect businesses.

I started this company because I saw too many businesses receiving cookie-cutter solutions from national providers who didn't take time to understand their unique needs. I believe in education, helping clients understand their options, the value of different technologies, and how to make informed decisions that protect their investment.

I'm a proud North Carolinian with deep ties to this community. When I'm not designing comprehensive technology solutions, you'll find me watching the Carolina Partners, UNC basketball, spending time with family, and serving in my local church.
